ORDIZ-MELBY DESIGNS INDEPENDENCE

Independence High School will be Bakersfield's newest design provided by Ordiz-Melby architects for the Kern High School District. The 60 acre site will accomodate 200,000 square feet of floor area with 78 classrooms total.
Ordiz-Melby provided Spline Motion with the campus model in a SketchUp file format and that was then imported into 3DStudioMax. This gave SMS a chance to refine their SketchUp interface and modeling skills while ironing out export problems between the two programs.
